How many Band members are there?
We are a 4 piece band that can cater for all occasions.
Do you use backing tracks?
No. Our set is 100% live.
Will the Band I book at the showcase be the same members performing at my wedding?
Yes, we are members of the “Wedding Band Association“ which assures you get the Band that you have booked. Be aware of Bogus Bands!
Are you prepared to travel?
Yes, we are professional musicians and realise that travel is part of our job so this is not a problem. A small travel fee may apply where necessary.
Do you provide a DJ Service?
Yes and we also provide Ceremony and Drinks reception entertainment at unbeatable prices!
How long do you play for?
Performance time is 9pm – midnight, inclusive of interval. Band will play longer in the event things run late, but not past 1230 as this allows time for DJ. Dj service if booked through us concludes at 2am. Times inclusive of interval.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a E350 deposit to secure your date.
Is the deposit refundable?
The booking fee will secure Top of the popZ and is refundable up until Satisfactory viewing (viewing must take place 12 months from wedding date). We issue booking fees refunds up until 12 months out from the wedding date. All booking fees are thereafter non refundable once we enter into the 12 month timeline out from the wedding and 48 hrs after viewing band at showcase. In the event the band are cancelled 12 weeks out from the wedding, then 100% of the balance will be requested.
When do we pay the balance?
The balance is usually paid before the performance on the night or during the interval.
What do you wear?
We wear smart dress. Shirt, trousers, waistcoat and ties.
Will the band learn our first dance?
Top of the PopZ have a catalogue of First dance choices share on request. In the event that your choice of first dance is not listed then we request at least two weeks notice, we will review it and if suitable we will learn and perform it live for you. Sometimes, we might suggest that the original version of the song is played over our system. Not all first dances are suitable to re produce live, however in most cases we will perform it. It should also be stressed that most couples request the original version on mp3, so don’t be afraid to ask, we wont be offended… Promise 😎
